Afrixir Community Guidelines
Effective Date: 22 April 2025
Afrixir is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for creators and viewers. These Community Guidelines outline what is and is not allowed on the platform. By using Afrixir, you agree to follow these rules at all times.
1. Purpose of These Guidelines
These Guidelines ensure that Afrixir remains:
- Safe for all users
- Free from abuse, harassment, and harmful content
- A supportive space for creativity and lawful expression
- Compliant with legal and industry standards
Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, demonetization, or permanent bans.
2. Prohibited Content
The following types of content are strictly forbidden on Afrixir:
2.1 Copyright & Intellectual Property
- Uploading content you do not own or do not have permission to use
- Reuploads of copyrighted movies, music, shows, or other protected media
2.2 Sexual Content
- Pornography
- Sexual content involving minors or depicting child exploitation
- Sexualized imagery of minors, including animation or suggestive depictions
2.3 Violence & Threats
- Graphic or extreme violence
- Violent threats or encouragement of harm
- Content promoting terrorism or violent extremism
2.4 Hate & Abuse
- Hate speech targeting individuals or groups
- Harassment, bullying, or coordinated attacks
- Content promoting discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or sexual orientation
2.5 Fraud, Scams & Deception
- Impersonating individuals, public figures, or organizations
- Spam, misleading metadata, fake giveaways, or deceptive promotions
- Content promoting illegal activities, hacking, or financial fraud
2.6 Safety Violations
- Content endangering minors
- Dangerous challenges or self-harm promotion
- Doxxing, sharing private information without consent
3. Allowed Content
- Original content you created
- Licensed or permission-granted content
- Family-friendly entertainment
- Educational, creative, informational, and professional videos
- Non-graphic entertainment media
Creators are responsible for ensuring they hold the rights to everything they publish.
4. Enforcement Actions
- Content removal
- Warning notices
- Age restriction
- Feature restrictions
- Temporary demonetization
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account termination
Afrixir reserves the right to escalate enforcement at its discretion.
5. Content Upload Agreement
By uploading content to Afrixir, you confirm and agree that:
5.1 You Own or Control the Rights
- Full ownership, OR
- Written permission or licensing rights to upload, share, and monetize the content.
5.2 No Infringement
- Does not violate copyright laws
- Does not violate privacy or publicity rights
- Does not contain unlicensed music, video clips, or images
5.3 Grant of Rights to Afrixir
- Host your content
- Encode and transcode
- Stream and distribute within the platform
- Promote your content on the platform and on Afrixir’s social media channels
5.4 Monetization Terms
- Advertisements
- Premium purchases
- Tips and donations
- Subscription features
Afrixir may update payout rules, timelines, and requirements as necessary.
5.5 Content Removal
You may delete your content at any time unless contractual licensing obligations apply. Afrixir may also remove content that violates these Guidelines.
6. DMCA Takedown Policy
Afrixir complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
6.1 Submitting Copyright Complaints
Send notices to: Email: legal@afrixir.com
A valid DMCA notice must include:
- Identification of copyrighted work
- URLs of infringing material
- Your contact information
- A good-faith statement
- A statement under penalty of perjury
- Your physical or electronic signature
Afrixir’s Response
- Remove or disable access to the infringing content
- Notify the uploader
- Allow them to submit a counter-notification
- Repeat Infringers may be permanently banned
7. DMCA Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification including:
- Your name and signature
- The URL of the removed content
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake
- Consent to legal jurisdiction
- Agreement to accept service of process
If the original complainant does not file legal action within 10–14 days, Afrixir may restore the content.
8. Reporting Violations
Users may report content or behavior that breaks these Guidelines directly through the platform. Afrixir reviews all reports but may not share details of enforcement actions.
9. Updates to These Guidelines
Afrixir may update these Community Guidelines at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated rules.
